AyurGhosh is an Ayurvedic health brand based in Calicut, Kerala, specialising in clinically formulated herbal remedies for piles, fistula, fissure, and digestive health. Founded on 25 years of Ayurvedic expertise, the brand's flagship product — PiloHerb Granules — is a precision-crafted blend of 24 potent herbs, FSSAI approved and clinically proven. They needed a complete ecommerce presence that would do justice to the depth of their formulation, build patient trust, and convert a sensitive health journey into a confident purchase decision.

The Challenge

The brand came with a powerful product but no digital storefront. Key challenges included:

  • Destigmatising the Condition:Piles is a condition that affects millions yet carries significant social stigma. Creating content and a brand experience that addresses the topic honestly — with empathy and clinical authority — without making patients feel embarrassed or overwhelmed.
  • Ingredient Transparency:The 24-herb formulation was the brand's biggest differentiator. Showcasing each botanical ingredient, its quantity, and its role in a way that felt credible and accessible — not intimidating.
  • Communicating a Multi-Week Healing Process:Ayurvedic remedies require patience. The site needed to set clear, week-by-week expectations so customers understood the healing journey and stayed committed to the full course.
  • Full Ecommerce from the Ground Up:The brand had zero prior ecommerce presence. We needed to build the entire purchase infrastructure — product variants, combo packs, COD support, bulk orders, secure checkout, and all policy pages — on a scalable platform.

Content Strategy: We transformed complex Ayurvedic and medical terminology into plain, empathetic language. Instead of clinical jargon, we wrote directly to the patient — explaining what to expect, week by week, in plain terms. Every page was written to speak with the customer, not at them.
